Last art of 2022

There are only a few days of 2022 left so I am squeezing in some more art. This Mythica comic sketch cover of Magnus MacDracken with sword and kilt is inspired by Conan the Barbarian posters of the 80s. That is my favorite era of sword and sorcery fantasy. I’ve scanned this cover in at hi res so I can either ink it myself or have someone ink it and use it for a cover or something in the future.

Captain Magnus MacDracken, the Scottish soldier turned demon slayer from the best fantasy comic series in the universe, Mythica.

Speaking of fantasy

I’ve been watching some fantasy television over the Christmas break as well. I watched the first three episodes of Willow as well as the first two episodes of The Witcher: Blood Origin. I already started writing down my thoughts for Willow for an upcoming blog post. I might have to do the same for The Witcher.
